Know This First
At Trail Hankie, we are passionate about supporting and preserving our State and National Parks while offering essential gear for the outdoor community. Whether you're hiking, boating, camping, or fishing, Trail Hankie is your go-to tool for safety, navigation, and endless outdoor possibilities.
Founded over 20 years ago in Green Country, Oklahoma, Trail Hankie is proud to be the original multi-purpose hiking and camping bandana. Born from a need for durable, all-weather trail maps, the Hall family—avid hikers themselves—developed the idea of printing maps on fabric. Their goal was to create a reusable, weatherproof alternative to traditional paper maps, while also reducing trail litter. Trail Hankie and our beloved mascot, Hiker Hank, were born from this innovation!
For two decades, we have primarily served Midwestern State Parks across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Texas. Today, we’re thrilled to expand our reach to Indiana, Florida, California, and beyond, making Trail Hankies available to more outdoor enthusiasts than ever.
In May 2024, the Jensens and the Jacksons proudly took the helm of Trail Hankie. With over 60 years of combined experience in the screen printing industry, they are committed to continuing the legacy of providing high-quality, multi-functional bandanas to hikers, campers, and adventurers across the U.S. Their goal is to make Trail Hankies accessible to more people, whether you’re exploring state and national parks, trail riding, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, or even navigating a college campus.
For the first time, Trail Hankies are now available directly to individual customers, meaning anyone can benefit from our versatile, eco-friendly, and practical designs – no matter where your adventures take you.
